In July  2025, Melody Bates and Jennifer Paar travel to Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, in the Dordogne region of France to participate in the inaugural Résidence Artistique la Pialussonnerie. While in residence, they will create and debut a new tale -- Le Conte du Bois Dormant -- Melody's original version of the Sleeping Beauty story. Their local collaborators include jewelry maker Yannick Carlier, musician Nathan Mameri, and producer Susan Schweitzer. Performances are free to the public: Tuesday, July 22nd, at 5pm, outdoors in the Place de l'église, and Wednesday, July 23rd, at 6pm, in the Caverne Poétique, 752 Rte 66, 24290 Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère
